The latest supercar to join the Ferrari family this September at the Frankfurt Motor Show is the 458 Italia. Chairman Luca di Montezemolo says the vehicle was designed to be "a tribute to Italy and its unique qualities." Sadly, the introduction of the car has been slightly overshadowed by the news of Felipe Massa's freak accident. Nonetheless, you can't deny the beauty of this car.
Much like its predecessor the F430, the 458 Italia's aluminum structure helps keep weight under control, weighing in at a 3,042lbs dry. Which means acceleration to 62mph is at 3.4 seconds. The car also features a new 4.5 litre V8 which provides 570 horsepower and 398 pound-feet of torque.
What a fantastic car ! Look at the lights !
