Probably when you're much more stable, more matured and ready to focus, I wouldn't mind coming back if you needed any help. I guess by now your heart is no longer there, you do not find happiness in me anymore, you do not like the things I did for you, you do not appreciate me anymore, you do not treasure my presence in your life. I don't blame you. I don't. I know what's happening and I will be giving you space to think through and settle your life first. When you're more ready to give me the respect that I deserve, respect in various aspects of life, being it in your actions, your words and your promises, I will plug myself back into your life. I do not want to interfere with your day to day issues anymore. I do not want to tell you what to do. I do not want to keep on waking u up everyday. I do not want to save you everytime you're in trouble anymore. I do not want to clear up the mess that you make. No more. You need to learn. You really need to learn. I tried my best to be the best brother to you, guiding you towards the lighted path, but you simply refused to. I only asked for basic respect, but you refused to give. Yes, we are not together, you might say that that you're not obliged into any commitment, but the fact is, we did promise each other and made a commitment to this special friendship but you broke it. We even did a pinky promise and I promise to stay by you and not leave you even how angry I am and I only asked for you to respect me as a brother. Respect my words, respect my actions, respect my religion, respect my culture and respect our promises. I have not left you and I will not leave you. I will be staying here by the side in any case that you need me. Don't get me wrong. Yes, I do have better things in life to do. But I am a man of my words. If I say that I will not leave you or be angry for more than 3 days, I won't. I will wait for you till you're ready to commit to this friendship, commit to your studies and commit to building a bright future.
Time has passed and things have changed. Many words have been said and actions been done. I really hope that after today, you would give it a serious thought and reflect on what has happened. I've pre-warned you on my position and existence but I believe that we did not plan it well. All I wanted was the best for you and not see you drown yet again.

Let's take a step back, reflect and amend certain wrong steps that we've wrongly taken and let's make things better shall we ?

What the future behold

It's been ages since I last write. I am pretty glad that I've embarked on a new journey building my professional career up the ladder. It's 2012 now and there are many resolutions that I wish to accomplish by end of this year. Well, it's time for a change for a better me before flying off to Tasmania in Feb 2013.

Tasmania. Another hot topic that has always been in my mind. I would frankly say that I am still indecisive about where or what I want to do in the future. Be an architect ? A businessman ? A Forex trader ? There are many routes and path that I would love to take. An architect would be a dream come true for me. A hectic lifestyle, stress and heavy workload are definitely camouflaged behind the glamorous profession of an architect.

I had a good jog with a childhood buddy who wished to walk the same path as me, as an architect, in the future. He too, had qualms about pursuing architecture. We do understand the sentiments we have to encounter and the long career path one has to take in order to be a principal architect or at least a senior planner. Well, the bottomline is, nothing comes easy in this life. If you want it, you gotta go and get it.

On another thought, I really wonder what's my love luck will be for this year. Like I say previously, I always believe that if you want something, you gotta go and get it. But even if I dont get what I want at the end of the day, I have no regrets :)

Well, I hope light shines in my path and brighten up my future. It's tough to be in my spot now having to decide which Bachelor Programme I wish to embark on. 3659 more days to decide. Wish me luck :)

Dead and Gone

Glad that you left. Many doors of opportunity and happiness were wide open for me. Hope you're enjoying your time, because I am.

That part of me left yesterday, the heart of me is strong today
No regrets, I'm blessed to say, the old me dead and gone away

:)

Zee Avi - The Story

Broken dreams, broken dreams,
hopin' some day you'll see me.
Sky is gray, sky is gray,
but I'm dancin in the rain.
Live to sway, live to sway,
will you remember my name?
Live a lie, live a lie,
why don't you ask yourself why?

Don't you open your eyes?

Only the moon, only the moon, only the moon,
will hear my plea.
Only the creatures of the night,
will harmonize with me.
Missed you so, missed you so,
and I wondered if you know;
The wind has blown me in this corner
and it's hard to let go.

That's the story, that's the story
of you and me

That's the story, that's the story
of you and me

Casa Verde, 'Green House' in Italian, is a very apt name for the Les Amis Group's outlet nestled amidst the lush greenery of Singapore Botanic Garden.

The place was filled with visitors to the park who wanted to take a pit-stop after taking a long stroll in the park. Most of them who were sitting outside were just having a drink and taking their time off walking.

Minestrone Soup ($7.00)
The minestrone soup was generous with its ingredients and taste. However an additional pinch of salt, pepper and some drops of tabasco sauce would do the soup better :) I do believe that the soup should come with a free-flow baguette bar instead of two triangles of toasted white bread.

Pizza frutti di Mare ($23.00)
Tomato salsa, Marinated Seafood Drizzled with Parsley & Garlic Sauce

The pizza was filled with generous amounts of ingredients but the seafood lacks its juiciness ! I feel that a squeeze of lemon onto the pizza would do it better. Best of all, the dough wasn't thick, or else I would be filled with more dough than pizza filling.

I certainly had to modify the taste of this pizza. Sprinkled lotsa cheese, chilli flakes and tabasco sauce. Oh ! It's thin enough to eat it calzone style and dip it in the minestrone soup.

Spaghetti Marinara ($18.00)
Tossed with prawns, squid, crab meat, salmon, olive oil & parsley. Choice of white wine or tomato sauce.

Yet again, the ingredients were very generous. There were huge chunks of salmon fish in the pasta to munch on. Even though the pasta was quite pricey, it gives the consumer a sense of satisfaction till he slurps the last strand of pasta down his throat :)

Fish 'n' Chips ($14.00)
Deep fried fish fillet in egg batter served with fries and salad

The Fish n Chips was served with two huge chunks of fish fillet and chips. Even though the size huge, the batter used wasn't that appetizing to the look and even to the taste. The fish fillet was kinda soggy after I was done with the photography. As compared to other fish n chips that I've tried elsewhere, it is hard to give two thumbs up for this dish in this restaurant. I am sorry but the egg batter was bad.

Raindrops Cafe

Raindrops Cafe

Operating Hours
11am - 1am

It had been quite sometime since we last gathered and dine at a new restaurant/cafe. Thus the meeting point was set at Raindrops cafe, a small little cafe, embedded at the back end of *Scape. The scenery, atmosphere was all great with lush greeneries at its background. However the emptiness of this cafe puts me in a doubt of the cafe's capability of serving good food. However, when the food came, I was quite surprised by the presentation and its taste. Great place to hang out in a group over the weekend.

Fish & Chips ($14)
Deep fried fish fillet coated with homemade beer batter, fries and baby green salad

The serving of the fish was adequate and its presentation was quite appealing.

Open Face Beef & Shrooms Ciabatta ($12)
Juicy beef chunks, sauteed wild mushrooms, onions & melted slice cheese. Served with potato chips and salad

My initial impression of this sandwich was " Hey, that's such a tiny sandwich for $12 ! " However the juicy beef chunks and cheese made me go wild and wanting for more. They should increase the size to match the wonderful taste of juicy beef chunks, sauteed wild mushroos and melted slice cheese with ciabatta.

Hawaiian Pizza ($14)
Ham, pineapple, capsicums & button mushrooms

Depot's Brew ($4.50)

Nothing beats the ending of a sumptuous dinner with a cup of depot's brew with biscotti (cookies made by calvin). Dip it, dunk it, drink it !
